To comply with the Federal Trade Commission's Red Flag Rules, the City of Sallisaw and the Sallisaw Municipal Authority has established an Identity Theft Program designed to detect, prevent and mitigate instances of potential identity theft. The program adopted is consistent with the utility's mission to mitigate occurences of identity theft that may occur while obtaining, processing and storing customer information used in opening and maintaining customer's accounts.
