Brushy Lake Park

Brushy Lake Park is owned and operated by the City of Sallisaw.  Located in the scenic wooded Cookson Hills of eastern Oklahoma, Brushy Lake Park offers a quiet secluded recreation destination offering camping, fishing and boating.

Facilities include eight day-use picnic areas with tables and grills, group shelters with electricity, 23 concrete camping sites including RV sites, playgrounds and a lighted boat ramp, as well as boat and fishing docks.   Electric service, water service and comfort stations with showers are all available.

Payment of Camp Fees at Brushy Lake Park
The fee station can be found inside the park beside the day use bathrooms.

Fees:  
Campsite:  March 1 through October 31      -        $20.00/Night
                   (14 day maximum stay)
               
                     November 1 through February 28 or 29   -  $15.00/Night    
                    (21 day maximum stay)
       
Pavilions: Reservations only-must call City Hall during regular business hours
 
     $50.00

Camping Fee Instructions Using the Fee Collection Box

  1. Select an empty campsite and complete the requested information on the envelope.
  2. Detach the receipt from envelope, note the days of the campsite rental.  Hang the receipt on the inside rearview mirror facing the windshield.
  3. Enclose the posted camping fee in envelope and insert envelope in the collection box.
  4. Please make all checks payable to the City of Sallisaw.  Your home (mailing) address, phone number and driver’s license number need to be on the front of your check.
Brushy Lake Park Rules
Visitors’ curfew is 10:00 pm
Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
No disorderly conduct, fighting, threats or obscene language or acts
No alcoholic beverages, glass containers or fireworks
Speed limit is 5 mph inside park
All vehicles shall be driven or parked on paved areas only
Boat speed limit is 15 mph
Fishing shall be governed by the regulations of the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife
No jet skis, tubing or skiing are allowed on the lake
All pets must be confined or leashed-park user is responsible for clean up after their pet
No littering, place all trash in proper receptacles
Firearms prohibited on park property and city's surrounding property
No loud music anytime (May be waived for special events)
