What is DiamondNet?: DiamondNet is the new fiber optic communications system that the City of Sallisaw and the Sallisaw Municipal Authority launched in February 2005. This system brings advanced video, internet, and telephone services to the residents and businesses of Sallisaw.

1. What services does DiamondNet offer?: We offer cable television, internet, and phone services. We have many packages to choose from.

2. How many television stations do you have available?: We have upwards of 250 stations available in our programming packages.

3. What makes DiamondNet unique?: DiamondNet is owned by the citizens of Sallisaw through the Sallisaw Municipal Authority.

4. What is DiamondNet?: DiamondNet is the new fiber optic communications system that the City of Sallisaw and the Sallisaw Municipal Authority launched in February 2005. This system brings advanced video, internet, and telephone services to the residents and businesses of Sallisaw.

5. What is a Fiber to the Home (FTTH) System?: A Fiber to the Home system is an advanced telecommunications technology that utilizes 100% fiber optics throughout the entire system. Unlike traditional cable or telephone systems that use copper wire or a mixture of coaxial and fiber optics, the FTTH system is more reliable, provides virtually unlimited bandwidth, and requires less maintenance once it is constructed.

6. Who owns the system?: The Sallisaw community owns the Fiber to the Home system, and its employees are residents of the community. In the past, the cable television provider in the community experienced numerous ownership and name changes, averaging one every four years. DiamondNet will have one owner and one name for the life of the system. As your neighbors, we strive to provide you with excellent service.
